What is this course?

Everyone needs a job, but there’s no course on job hunting. Do Not Hire Me is just that. You’ll learn tips like: “Beat the resume-scanning AI bots.” Yes, it’s a real thing.

Your next job hunt is the one thing standing between you and a bigger paycheck, a kinder boss, or a better commute. This course cuts through all the chaos of the recruiting industry with engaging content, sarcasm, and brevity.

This was originally going to be a book, but since no one really reads anymore (including myself), I figured this would be more accessible to more people who want to get hired.

Dedicated to my mom, Rosalyn

She would’ve had endless notes and critiques for me, but would have been proud that I wrote something at all.

  • This course is a collection of job hunting resources but I don’t guarantee you’ll get hired. Job hunting involves circumstances that are outside your control. I have no way of knowing how well you will do, because I don’t know you, your background, your work ethic, your dedication, your motivation, your desire, your financial situation, your educational background, or your business skills.

No guarantees are made that you will achieve any results from my ideas and techniques in my material.

By using this website, you recognize and agree that I have made no implications, warranties, promises, suggestions, projections, representations or guarantees whatsoever to you about future prospects or earnings, or that you will get hired, with respect to any Do Not Hire Me products or those recommended on this website.

You are advised to do your own due diligence when it comes to making career decisions. You should use caution and seek the advice of an accountant, lawyer, or professional advisor, before acting on this or any information. Nothing contained on the website (including materials available for sale, linked, or download from the website) provides professional advice in any way.

Legal jargon aside, I’m still rooting for you.

Why you?

I searched for a better job every year during my career of 20 years. I also got internet famous trying to land job in advertising, using advertising. It was a campaign called Do Not Hire Me.

I’ve sat on both sides of the interview table and I believe everyone should understand how the recruiting industry works so you can bend the rules in your favor. I also have master’s in communication if that’s helpful.

She’s amazing. She originally made them for a book I was going to publish, but I turned it into this course!

What’s the catch?

No catch. No login required. Thanks for taking the time to even read this far. Think of this course as one of the few free, helpful things you stumble upon on the internet.
